Responsibilities

  • Leader that will participate in senior technology strategy discussion, drive ideation across regional tech platforms and global focus areas with a key drive for cloud, data and OpenIT
  • Lead, inspire, coach and mentor the team of technical architect, data scientists and engineering platform devops
  • Develop and promote the enterprise technical architecture principles, designs and services and be able to differentiate region vs global opportunities
  • Build trusting relationships with key business stakeholders to align/influence business, IT architecture and Data vision
  • Champion the application modernization, recommend solutions to improve new and existing systems.
  • Provide technical leadership while developing and maintaining relationship with products owners, solution engineers and technical architects
  • Develop multi-year roadmaps, provide the vision and work with individual architects to translate this into tactical engineering blue prints
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of cloud technologies, data engineering, data science, software engineering to design reliable, scalable and performant end-to-end architectures

Profile required

  • Excellent communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong background leading high performance enterprise software development teams.
  • Significant breadth and depth of technologies in the areas of: Cloud solutions and deployments, preferably Azure; Data engineering and data science, Services patterns, application containers, and API
  • Experience with Agile & DevOps methodologies, tools and measurement practices.
  • Expertise in providing mentorship to multiple teams in broad technical areas on complex enterprise-wide projects

Department Description
The bank is growing its technology capacity to support transversal functions within sgmarkets.com platform components and drive public cloud adoption. Architecture team within Technology department needs to reinforce to create and support components used by the whole bank. Within Engineering department you will work on several innovative components used by thousands of users.
 This team has mandate to explore all pertinent solutions and collaborate with subject matter experts in the departments they are supporting, and deliver strategic value for the bank in quick iterations.

This is a great opportunity for technical expert passionate about IT technologies who want to make an impact both locally and globally within the Bank. We are looking for a technical expert with Agile developer background who are curious to understand and challenge processes, propose creative solutions, know or want to learn technical IT architecture.
