Responsibilities

The VIE will assist sales and trading in the day to day work:


- in generating the daily report for clients with news on companies/specials and trading levels on these companies.
- in writing reports on corporate actions when announced, being able to explain them to clients and internal desks.
- In modelling including programming in vba, etc...


During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities:


- Identify Corporate Actions on a European universe and impact on Indices
- Figure out arbitrage opportunity in studying shareholder structure, pro ratio etc…
- Feed a Database / Build tools to extract data from our base (including coding)
- Maintain and enhance our database and publication tools
- Contribute to regular publication such as Stock Loan Tool Box, CB monitor, Securities finance monitor
- Liaise with Asia and America strategist to share our tools
- Extend market intelligence to Fixed income
- Monitor Cost of financing (single stock and Indices


Profile Required

The VIE assignment in a nutshell  

This VIE in London is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information, please see www.civiweb.com.


Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering school or University, majoring in Finance.

A previous experience in Investment Banking would be appreciated.

You are fluent in English.

You are proficient in Office application.
