Responsibilities

1. Delivering the Market Risk reports to MR teams / Traders / Risq within agreed timelines and with highest quality possible. Ensure all queries that are coming from the Onshore/FO with respect to the MR are promptly attended to and pitch in where necessary such as technical aspects as well as enabling soft skill in communications. Measurement by number of FO/Risq/Paris appreciation/escalation mails.
2. Accountable for the investigation and review of the VaR/STT/SVaR/RA figures.
3. Ensure that good commentary is provided for SVaR/VaR/STT and Other Market Risk moves in Checkpoint, Colibris, Daily report to Paris etc. All comments should be given by agreed SLA.  Ensure that all required documents are stored for proof.
4. Ensure that leaves are well planned and communicated to all colleagues and stake holders. Follow up with manager to keep the leaves updated on the leave tracker and shared with the team accordingly. Ensure that proper office timing is maintained.
5. All SOPs of new activities to be in place. Review the SOP's and get official mail sign off from onshore. To be performed twice a year– Once by April end and another Oct end. All signed off SOP's to be maintained in SharePoint.
7. Track IT issues in using UNITY template and production incidents in Control Tower religiously.
8. My Metrics-End to end testing of respective perimeters which includes giving requirements, raising issues, and moving completely to MYM
9. End to end understanding of FRTB metrics and implementation of FRTB like VAR FRTB, ES, DRC, SBM which includes raising issues, testing etc.
10. Aware 2.0 migration-Onboarding of risk metrics form aware 1.0 to MPT/MYM for respective perimeters.
11. Improving the MR comment quality by standardizing the comment with sensi*shock, tenor etc. details along with trading strategy for big moves for all desks across FIC
12. Onboarding of sensi*shock on MYM and Independent VAR certification for all FIC perimeters
13. Periodic review of the email list /DL to which the MR reports are being sent
14. Conduct and attend internal trainings on product, process, Business etc.
15.Closing all the checkpoint alerts same day without fail.
16. Extending the ML for all the FIC perimeters and testing of respective scopes.
17. Ensuring that major issues/reprises faced by the team are being fixed within a week by coordinating with different stakeholders
18.Monitoring the Market risk prod controls like limit breaches, moves at team level on daily basis and inform the manager on any potential red alerts
19. Enhancing the existing controls by putting new controls in place in terms of new/existing process like commentary quality, analysis etc.
20. Providing backup for Asia team as and when required.
21. Sending mail with explanations to counterparts for >80% warning for metrics VaR/SVaR/STT.
22.Ensure to have a holistic view of the entire process to guide/help the team on daily PROD related issues
23. Sharing Analysis on FIC and SG level moves for BGL metrics(weekly/monthly) to senior management with details related to activities in Market.
24. Migration of STT Risk Cube Migration to MPT and any upcoming migration and decommissioning of INDUS as we have migrated to My Metrics for VAR and SVAR.
25. Need to schedule Monthly calls with Front Office and walkthrough the analysis on the Trading Desk
26. Impact Analysis for ADHOC Migration to be checked in advance and provide insights to the Management
27. Oversee FIC as an entirety daily to cover for any query/concerns raised by stakeholder and on Adhoc basis in absence of the Manager cover PRODUCTION

Profile required

1. Indepth understanding of greeks - first / second / third derivatives 
2. Be critical on existing processes and learn to be proactive
3. Detailed knowledge on valuations of products such as Bonds, Equities, Fx, IRS, Exotic, Hybrids, Structured, CTY, credit risk products
4. Able to understand the concepts used in valuation techniques and methodologies behind the same
