As part of its daily activities, the Business Intelligence Competence Center for the Americas region tends to develop various dashboarding and reporting tools to assist business teams in New York and Chicago in their decision-making. With the support of the team members, you will:

  • Collect needs and specify the functionalities to be implemented
  • Develop the necessary applications (dashboard, reports, process automation).
  • Implement, test and deliver functionalities according to our standards
  • Develop/improve existing tools

In this position, you will be supported by members of the BI Center who will be committed to providing you with the tools and advice you need to successfully complete your internship.

Profile Required

You are currently enrolled in a Master's degree program at a university with a specialization in Computer Science or Engineering.


A first experience in Full Stack Development and/or Business Intelligence is required.

You are fluent in English and French.

YOUR TECHNICAL SKILLS

Required

  • BI tools : MS Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy, Grafana
  • Databases : Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL
  • Servers : Unix & Windows

Would be a plus

  • Knowledge of languages : Angular and/or Python
  • Knowledge of ETL tools : Pentaho Data Integration, Talend, Informatica

Societe Generale opened its Canadian headquarters in Montreal in 1974 to offer its financial services to corporations, financial institutions and governments. The Toronto and Calgary offices were opened in 1978 and 2006 respectively.
