Responsibilities

Description of the Business Line or Department

  • To manage and co-ordinate CRS/FATCA reporting process
  • To oversee and control the timely submission of CRS/FATCA reporting using the NavOne system
  • The role may entail some training functions
  • Investigate and develop strategic direction for future reporting process

Summary of the key purposes of the role

  • Oversee the key elements within NavOne to enable accurate and timely CRS/FATCA submissions
  • Responsibility for the CRS/FATCA reporting functionality within the NavOne Trust system

Summary of responsibilities

  • Scheduling and monitoring timeline requirements for Gross Income tests, classification, reportable values and submissions via the online portals
  • Coordinating distribution and updates of information to the Trust teams
  • Provision of timely, accurate, clear and relevant reporting to Senior Management
  • Ongoing management of all issues relating to CRS/FATCA reporting, developing procedures to avoid bottlenecks and ensure efficient working practices
  • Provide support/training and advice to Trust personnel to resolve CRS/FATCA issues
  • Identify the need to update CRS/FATCA procedures, working practices and forms and co-ordinate such updates
  • Set up and provide relevant Key Performance Indicators to ensure quality service is provided to Trust Front Office
  • Understand and adhere to internal and external compliance/regulatory requirements in all jurisdictions where the Trust Group operates
  • Define risk management criteria and monitoring and control procedures relating to CRS/FATCA.
  • Keep fully abreast of key changes to industry standards and practices; maintaining and developing appropriate technical knowledge in support of this requirement
  • Undertake relevant training, leading to appropriate professional qualification where relevant and maintain the required CPD records
  • Maintain and/or develop required IT competences
  • Work effectively within the team and corporate framework
