Application Manager on the CRYSTAL-Apericube applications
- 10+ years of experience in managing teams and applications with direct contact with Business users located outside Bangalore
- Excellent communication and Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong Autonomy / Proactive and Flexible
- Demonstrated ability and desired to learn operational tools and to accept additional responsibilities
- Experience on Credit Risk topics in Banking industry (RWA, IFRS 9.2, ECL, PD, LGD, EAD, Basle 2) would be a plus
Design and build the solution answering to Business needs
Relationship with the Business
o Strong desire to partner with stakeholders to help them improving their work and use of the application
o Strong understanding of user expectations, ability to raise clarifications with stakeholders when needed
o Strong listening skills to gather requirements and understand the technical barriers to project completion
o Strong to propose multiples solutions which could fit to the Business requirements in order to always help them to be more efficient in their jobs
Project Management role
o Ability to design or to maintain the solution / application accordingly with the company guidelines, mainly on technical side and with special focus on security (example : Chapter Marvel norms, Security constraints)
o Acts as SPOC for business requirements and represents the end user in the development team
o Ability to prioritize over many items and meet committed project timelines
o Ability to manage the governance : Operational Committee (OpCO), Steering committee (Steerco) and monthly reporting (Pyramid)
o Ability to challenge Business requirements selected and to ensure the corresponding budget and staffing
o Experience in working with conceptual and physical Data Models, with proven SQL skills
Management of the application
Application Manager role
o Ensure production quality in accordance with business SLA ensuring cost optimization & propose post mortem to follow incidents & remediation actions plans
o Responsible for certification of product release before user acceptance & compliance with Permanent supervision guidelines
o Manage the budget (Run & Change)
o Define & follow the team set up needed in accordance with budget guidelines to recruit, develop, retain and manage the resource needed
o Manage the relation with Clients & business partners
o Define and supervise technical and organizational projects by ensuring quality of service and security
Business Users assistance
o Provide application and functional expertise support to Business users, as and when required
o Strong analytical, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
o Ability to make presentations to Business users and to lead regularly workshops with business users.
Experience in Agile environment (Jira, Scrum) and ATDD (using Fitnesse for example) would be a plus.
