Primary Objective:

Excellence in post trade execution trade support, client on-boarding, client service process is a top priority for Societe Generale. The profile of this position is to be the team lead for FIC TSU team working with the region(SGP/BLR) and providing oversight function for Client Valuation team based in Bangalore.


  • Post-trade support for OTC FIC Derivatives (JGB, FB, FX, IRD and etc) – allocation/pre-confirmation generation/monitoring trade matching status/trade validation/event management
  • Proactive follow up – Liaison with local and overseas teams for settlement/payment/confirmation issues.
  • Provide oversight function for offshored activities – navigating the team to right process, seek optimization, ensuring key process followed.
  • Reporting - Create internal reports to support GBSU management and Front Office as well as involvement in regulatory reporting as needed.
  • Lead Projects – Lead and drive projects related to FIC TSU and Valuations. Projects can be run by region, mini projects only relevant to onshore activities looking for optimization. Be the SME for projects that is driven elsewhere to provide necessary information and ensure controls are in place.
  • Continuous Improvement – Seek opportunities for process enhancement, mitigating operational risks where possible.
  • Client liaison – follow up on all client queries, ensure all client needs are delivered. Raise any new clients needs to manager and dedicated committees. Proactively troubleshoot and follow-up on remediation plan until roll-out.
  • Participate in governance calls with local, regional teams.
  • Be the point of contact for audit/inspections.
  • Report to department head for issues/key topics.

Profile required

Key Skill Areas & knowledge Required:

  • Native level of Japanese with business level of English language.
  • About 7+ experience working in similar function in the financial industry.
  • Products knowledge with a focus on Fixed income products/Client service will be preferred.
  • Experiences of off shoring project.
  • Accuracy / Swiftness / Attention to detail / Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong and sharp analytical skills.
  • Proactive approach seeking improvements / Willingness to learn and develop new areas and products.
  • Excellent communication skills with experience in communicating with Japanese clients as well as overseas internal teams. 
  • Positive mindset, challenge and change oriented.
