Responsibilities

Branch in Poland and Sogessur S.A Branch in Poland) and leasing (ALD Automotive and SG Equipment Leasing).

The service we bring to our corporate and financial institutions clients revolves around three main activities - investment banking, financing and markets - and our global franchises of equity derivatives and natural resources. Within Société Générale, our market activities are integrated into a multi-asset class, multi-product platform focusing on delivering high quality investment, financing and risk management solutions to: asset managers, pension funds, private banks, banks, insurance companies, hedge funds, corporates, family offices, sovereign funds and retail network distributors around the world.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Management of the bank's interest rate risk;
  • Management of the bank's treasury bonds position;
  • Supporting the Trade team in managing the bank's liquidity;
  • Preparation of daily market commentaries;
  • Regular contacts with the bank's key customers to discuss the market situation;
  • Monitoring the consumption of risk limits.

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Banking/Finance;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position (market making activities).

Language skills:

  • Polish proficiency (C1);
  • English proficiency (C1);
  • Other languages would be considered an advantage.

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of financial markets and interest rate instruments;
  • Practical knowledge of Treasury Securities Dealers system;
  • Being proficient in making calculations and analyzes;
  • Knowledge of technical analysis;
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Power Point);
  • Good interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to cooperate;
  • Team Spirit;
  • Having a proactive, can-do attitude;
  • Flexibility & adaptability skills;
  • Being able to manage stressful situations.
