Mission

FIP is a in-house pretrade application allowing Sales to draft documents based on shared templates, inform related actors - Funding, Engineers/Pricers, Struturers, etc. - of their activities as well as require their inputs and validation via an auditable workflow during the Structured products issuing.

Documents handeled by FIP are Termsheets (Sales document), Final Terms (legal contract) and KID (Key Information Document) linked to the European Regulatory topics (Priips/Mifid 2).

The application is linked to several downstream and upstream services/application (Pricing, Referentials, etc.).

FIP is designed in services oriented architecture which has been re-written in 2017, while the front end is being re-written in 2019.

Code base is very new using Java 8, Angular 7, Hibernate 4, Spring Boot/Batch/MVC, Restful services, NoSQL database (MongoDB), Relational database (MySQL), Elasticsearch, Kibana


Your Role in a Nutshell:

  • Assist with the translation of business requirements into technical ones;
  • Show technical expertise and handle development/testing tasks;
  • Follow up functional testing with end users or business analysts;
  • Liaises with Infrastructure/middleware teams to ensure proper application configurations and hardware performance efficiencies;
  • Employs industry standard best practices;
  • Provides level three support during local business hours;
  • Involved with the review and submission of solutions designs globally.

Profile

A little about You:
  • You have excellent understanding of Java and Angular;
  • Knowledge of services oriented architecture and caching mechanisms;
  • Knowledge of NoSQL database principles (e.g. MongoDB);
  • Knowledge of some core development tools used within the company: Kibana, Maven, Jenkins, Git;
  • Knowledge of Docker;
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
