Responsibilities

Role Description

  • Partner with business and technology to identify data flows and golden sources
  • Identify gaps in data flow of manual processes and controls.
  • Facilitate the collection of data quality problems from RISK teams (problems detected in production or in ongoing projects) analyze them, estimate the financial or any other issues in relation to the operations and define the entities in charge of the remediation.
  • Participate/contribute in discussions on relevant data quality indicators, designing of new DQ dashboard and their analysis in RUN mode, new functionalities in IT tools and the positioning of automatic/manual controls that will allow to calculate these indicators
  • Contribute to change management actions for RISK users related to data quality
  • Contribute to the facilitation of Data Quality governance within RISQ
  • Sync with RDMO and RISQ CDO and develop effective data management methodologies, especially on data lineage / meta data
  • Own Data lineage / meta data process, including annual certification of CDEs
  • Provide regular progress update to RISQ Data Domain Owner (delegate) and Data Stewards on CDE annual certification (data lineage / meta data)  
  • Functionally reporting to RISQ Data Domain Owner (Delegate), in addition to reporting local DTO manager
  • POC for RISQ Data Management 
  • Support Data Domain Owners or Data Stewards in RISQ CDO in all phases of data management program
  • Liaise with Data Domain Owners and consumers and escalate priority Data Quality Issues
  • Ensuring accurate documentation of Business Metadata in KEA'R
  • Lead remediation efforts with specific finance functional areas
  • Interface with RDMO and RISQ DMO for updates to standards, policy and procedures
  • Collaboration with technology partners to implement Data Strategy and remediation

Technical Skills

  • Project / Program management of Data Quality remediations
  • Design, build, integrate data from various resources.
  • Data management expertise in defining Metadata, Quality and Lineage for critical data elements.
  • Expertise in tools that are used in Data Analytics. (Advanced Excel, Power BI, Business Objects, SQL)
  • Data management expertise in defining Metadata, Quality and Lineage for critical data elements
  • Partner with business and technology to identify data flows and golden sources
  • Identify gaps in data flow of manual processes and controls
  • Manage collaboration with technology, operations, and other cross-organizational control functions
  • Partner with technology to implement improved lineage and quality of critical data elements

Profile required

Typical profile:

Education:

  • Graduate/post graduation in computer science or in finance. Certification courses in Data Science, ML/AI tools

Experience:

14+ years of experience, particularly in the banking business lines, risk or finance, credit risk business lines.

•You have knowledge and skills in programming languages, Python, R, SAS, SQL; .

•You are motivated by data processing and technical engineering and have an interest in the banking and financial world.     

•You're fluent in English!
