Responsibilities
- To be a senior member of the SEA financial institutions sales team with specific focus on both hedge funds and fast money (HFFM) as well as global real money clients based in Southeast Asia.
- The product perimeter is primarily focused on flow FX and FXO, but product expertise extends to cash rates and flow derivatives in both EM Asia and G10.
- Intensify the push on digital offerings on FX across single and multi-dealer platforms ensuring expansion of client footprint, comprehensive user-mapping, price tiering and client profitability analytics.
- Maintain complete alignment with trading desks to grow and protect trading P&L through diversifying the client base across the region and reinforce our risk recycling capabilities and leverage on a more content-driven and advisory approach.
- Advocate principles of cross selling with other HFFM sales in other product desks such as cross asset, equity derivatives and prime services sales.
- Grow close coordination with HFFM sales teams in London and NY to grow overall client profitability, especially with global accounts.
- Mentor junior team members by sharing FX product expertise as well as disciplined work ethic.
- Partake in training sessions, product presentations and visit hubs to exchange. Develop a market advisory approach with relative value analysis and trade idea generation in close interaction with the Trading and Research teams.
- Maintains strong connectivity with the market, understand the needs of each client segment, what competitors do in terms of products - Feedback the information to management, other sales teams, engineering, structuring teams and trading teams to improve capabilities of the platform.
- Strong adherence to the Group’s Code of Conduct and compliance requirements, along with other internal and external regulations and standards.
- Responsible for pre-trade coordination, trade confirmation and post trade coordination.
Profile required
Academic background and certifications, experience
- Possesses a degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or Engineering
- Minimum 10 years relevant financial markets experience in sales and trading
- Proven capabilities in building strong relationships with clients, and has existing relationships with macro hedge funds and real money clients
- Strong technical knowledge on FIC products, particularly FX
- Persuasive communicator, and able to manage stakeholders at all levels
- Good team player: Work closely and back up other team members to ensure client business continuity

Department Description
The successful candidate will join the SEA financial institutions sales based in Singapore responsible for official institutions, asset managers, insurance companies, macro hedge funds, banks and private banks across FX, rates, and credit flow and vanilla derivatives. There is a larger Pan-Asia macro hedge fund sales community including professionals across regional centers HK, London and NY that works in close coordination across the various time zones.
