Major Accountabilities/Principal responsibilities:
The Debt Capital Markets (DCM) team is responsible for addressing borrowers’ needs by raising capital in the debt capital markets. The client base for DCM includes corporate borrowers, financial institutions, public-sector, as well as non-investment grade (high yield) issuers globally.
DCM’s activity in debt origination, within SG, covers issuance of bonds across the capital structure, including covered bonds, senior and subordinated debt, hybrid capital, liability management advisory, green and sustainable bonds. Where relevant for DCM transactions, the team also manages rating advisory services and is responsible for originating FX and rates derivatives transactions in collaboration with other specialised teams internally.

We are currently looking for a Graduate Trainee – Debt Capital Markets to join us on a full-time fixed term basis for 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing team and get hands-on experience within a fast-paced, results focused, global organisation. The successful candidate will gain experience in all stages of a capital markets transaction and to have an active role in a client facing team. This includes having exposure to a working in a fast-moving industry, where the scope of work will cover a wide range of a financing business line activity, from origination, execution and closing.
