Responsibilities

Mission: 

You will support the Group strategy within Saudi Arabia by growing client revenues across the corporate clients’ base, managing client interactions at different levels, securing senior clients access, originating and developing structured solutions for clients, negotiating and executing transactions, and working closely and effectively with business lines internally at Société Générale.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Financial:
    • Achieve revenue targets across the client portfolio
    • Contribute to the finalization of transactions with a view of achieving the most favorable terms (financially and otherwise) for the organization
  • Customer:
    • Build and develop relationships with corporate clients with a view of ensuring long term sustainability of the business and client satisfaction
    • Develop business with existing and new target clients
    • Participate actively in pitches and client meetings
    • Manage regular interactions with clients
  • Process & Capability:
    • Participate in bids and create proposals
    • Maintain close contact between clients and B/L or initiate new B/L contacts
    • Act in accordance with CMA regulations & Société Générale Group’s policies & procedures
    • Bring to the business lines the market understanding and intelligence that they require obtaining mandates and opportunities
    • Efficiently manage relationship and output from the dedicated Coverage Support team
    • Alert management on possible KYC issues
    • Alert management on possible nascent counterparty risk
    • To manage internal and external contacts

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, management or other relevant qualifications
  • More than 15 years of banking experience   
  • Significant banking and corporate/industry experience and knowledge of credit
  • Proven experience in marketing, relationship management and client management in Saudi Arabia and with (GCC) corporate entities

Language skills:

  • Fluency in English

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the KSA market, and as a plus in GCC countries
  • Product knowledge and in-depth market know-how of financial markets and well-established network of corporate relationships
