HR Information Systems Specialist

Montreal, Canada Permanent contract IT (Information Technology)

Responsibilities

    • HRIS Responsibilities:
      • Central point of contact for off-shore team in Bangalore
      • Maintain organizational structure on AMER PeopleSoft HCMS system
      • Work with IT developers to resolve any issues which may arise and new enhancements
      • Monitor data integrity and document anomalies
      • Document processes, procedures and prepare training materials related to HR systems functions
      • Respond to regulatory inquiries from local, state, and federal regulators as well as to internal and external auditors and inspectors
      • Generate ad hoc reports
      • Data analysis and reporting including creating dashboards
      • Work with HR users of HR systems to document requirements and work with IT (on and offshore) to implement, document HRIS processes.
      • Process Payroll Interface
      • Participate in local and global projects
      • Manage email inquiries
      • Provide end users support
    • Administration of SG HR Service Now Platform Now:
      • Document Service Now Business Requirements,
      • Update and maintain user guides,
      • Assist Service Now Platform Users,
      • Administrate Service Now Knowledge Management and Onboarding tools,
      • Support HR Teams,
      • Participate in SN upgrades, implementation and enhancements projects.
    • BA responsibilities:
      • Proactively suggest improvements and efficiencies to existing HRIS process, Work with business partners within and across regions and functions to align technology solutions with business strategies
      • Establish relationship with business partners to provide functional and/or technical solutions to meet user needs.
      • Develop, write, and communicate business requirements for the implementation of business solutions.  Procures technical assistance to help in problem resolution.
      • Work closely with developers to clarify requirements, and ensure development is done according to requirement
      • Develop test cases and validate test results during the testing phase with the QA
      • Organize demonstrations to ensure delivery is according to the user's requirements
      • Investigate, resolve and escalate production problems.
      • Support and participate in the formal reporting of project status
