The SG Branch in Stockholm was established in December 2017, out of SG’s former Representative Office in Stockholm present in Sweden since 1992. The Branch employs 30 employees, offering Global Banking and Advisory and Capital Markets activities to its clients, covering the whole Nordic Region. Within the framework of GBIS strategy and together with its business partners, the Human Resources function aims at developing GBIS attractiveness as a responsible employer notably in terms of career opportunities, people development, compensation, diversity and a healthy and secure working environment. You will provide HR administrative support to the local HR Director involving contacts with internal and external stakeholders both locally, such as external contractors and suppliers and internationally; the head office in Paris, London HR specialist teams and Bucharest support functions.

You will :

  • Provide first line support for ad hoc routine employee enquiries
  • Update and manage all personnel files with accuracy and discretion
  • Manage local employee onboarding, prepare starter packs for new joiners and schedule induction programmes.
  • Assist with employee exit administration
  • Managing international VIE and internal mobility staff onboarding and exit; personal id number, tax and benefits, temporary accommodation, corporate flat search
  • Support HR Director in recruitment processes, liaising with the internal recruitment function in Bucharest
  • Posting ads in the recruitment tool feeding to LinkedIn and other external job boards, supporting local managers sourcing CVs, arranging interviews and ordering background checks.
  • Updating benefit, pension and insurance provider’s external database
  • Track probationary periods, provide notification to managers in advance of probation end dates to confirm satisfactory completion.
  • Assisting in payroll and tax administration, providing necessary information for the payroll provider for the monthly payroll, acting as back up for time reporting including absence comp leave registration and approvals
  • Manage staff training budget, collecting training needs, sourcing training vendors and updating the training portal with all performed trainings, supporting staff and Managers with requests and information 
  • Monitor the GDPR mailbox, collect underlying documents to GPS controls.
  • Participating in and contributing to local CSR & ESG initiatives
  • HR Employer branding, representing SG at University events and Recruitment Fairs.
  • Provide administrative support to the local HR Director, updating the HR system

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Human Resources
  • A previous experience in Human Resources would be appreciated
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Swedish language preferred

This VIE in Stockholm is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months. The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that your VIE mission could potentially get postponed, depending on the evolution of the health crisis and subjects to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). In addition, the selected candidate will only be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment.
