The Auditor position will be responsible for performing information systems and business audits while working under general supervision. Duties will include:

  • assessing control environments;
  • performing risk assessments;
  • conducting IT and Business audits.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Work involves planning and conducting technical audits, data analysis of information systems & platforms, operating procedures, preparing working papers, audit findings and audit reports, in accordance with established audit standards.

  • Assessing the efficiency, accuracy of business processes and security of Information Systems;
  • Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, procedures and SG standards;
  • Detecting data and procedural errors and preparing recommendations for corrective measures;
  • Formalization of detected findings and related recommendations through work papers and audit report;
  • Assisting development of audit and analytical programs as directed;
  • Making presentations to various groups and departments on audit findings and recommendations;
  • Performing risk assessment and other audit duties as assigned.

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics or related fields;
  • 5 years total experience in IT related tasks such as IT audit and/or IT Internal Control as well as IT certification is requested;
  • Certification in CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) &/ ITIL.

Language skills:

  • Fluency in written and spoken Turkish & English.

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Technology audit and risk management;
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to perform audit work with sufficient autonomy, organization and responsiveness to conduct, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important;
  • Able to manage priorities, deadlines and budget constraints;
  • Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Good knowledge of standard IT tools such as MS Office;
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritizing skills;
  • Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Solid problem solving skills;
  • Ability to adhere to and enforce strict work paper quality standards which includes ability to gather objective evidence to reach conclusions and document findings.
