Ihre aufgaben

 You will work closely with our Production Support team and our Development teams to maintain, develop, improve and decommission tools used by the 2 teams and additionally tools used by our customers, the Trading Floor colleagues in charge of Market Making (Traders and Sales). You will be in charge, together with the DevOps and Production Support teams, of monitoring our productive system and solve or prevent technical issues.

You will be at the heart of an industrial pre-trade information system involving hundreds of servers, processes and applications interacting in real time to allow the business to stream live prices of about 700k financial instruments and to negotiate electronically up to 1 million requests per day.

Your Main Responsibilities:

-          Migration of tactical tools monitoring to the core application

-          Tasks scripting for repetitive support tasks: user creation, automatic check of delivery content before/after production deployment, morning and evening check dashboards and automatic emails, …

-          Regression test tool extension with new scenarios

-          Follow-up remediation actions leading to preventing next incidents of the same nature (monitoring enhancements, additional checks, information to users, feature implementations)

-          To cover the needs of the application, the team is organized in shifts where rolling principles are followed. Important for the production is coverage of morning/evening checks (usually 7 am/ 6 pm) before/after market open/close

Ihr profil

Experience & Technical Skills

·         You are enrolled in a Bachelor, Master or Engineering degree in IT

·         Strong interest in trading related IT technology as you will be working with trading systems and related subsystems

·         Being familiar with SQL queries

·         Basic knowledge in any coding language such as VBA, Python or C#

·         Basic knowledge in Finance and financial products will be of help

·         Fluent English (spoken and written) necessary to work in an international environment

You will join our Application Trading DevOps team (4 persons in Frankfurt) within a larger group of 30 persons on the applications. The team is responsible for the tooling required by production team supporting one of the most critical applications used by traders in charge of the Market Making of Société Générale Listed Derivatives products. This application is in charge of OTC (Over the Counter) trading, pricing, volatility fitting, risk monitoring, streaming of prices, electronic negotiation in large volumes and high frequency computation & overall data updates.
