Intern - Public Distribution Support (m/f/d)

As intern in the Public Distribution Team, your main responsibility will be to support all kind of trading or issuing activities within DLP, monitor processes and the performance (cost, risk, quality) of the issuing value chain and life cycle for warrants and certificates. 

Your Main Responsibilities:

Contribution to the monitoring of the own issue processes to maintain a very high quality of service towards all involved teams, external vendors and exchanges

  • Monitoring of the new Issue and life cycle processes in compliance with regulatory requirements (Mifid2, Mifir, EMIR, Dodd Frank, Volcker Rule, 871m, FTT, etc.)
  • Manage incidents with respect to issuance and life cycle events of products

Contribute towards process optimisation:
  • Contribute to the improvement of the processes
  • Testing of new features or processes
  • Introduction of new features within the team
  • Internal data processing standards and responsibility of establishing or adopt external Standards
  • Participate in the review of the incidents: identification of the root causes, implements by the corrective action

Profile required

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program at a University in the area of Business Administration or Finance with excellent academic credentials
  • Ideally you have pas experience within a Support Unit either with internships or bank apprenticeships
  • IT Background (i.e. experience in working with sophisticated IT applications or involvement in projects to improve/change IT landscape within an operative department) required
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Very good written and oral communication skills
  • Fluency in German and English is required (both written and orally)
  • Very good command of MS Office
