              Société Générale Global Transaction Banking (GTB) includes payment and cash management, cash clearing services, trade services, factoring and foreign exchange services associated to these activities. GTB integrates all the expertise and services required to facilitate the daily transactional activities of major economic and financial actors both in a domestic and international scope.

              Our Cash Management Desk of Société Générale in Zrich is offering solutions to Swiss large to middle capped-companies and multinationals to maintain their cash accounts, execute payments and optimize their treasury/liquidity management.


              We are looking for a motivated Intern to support management and sales team for 12 to 18 months. As Sales Associate Payments & Cash Management Intern you will support the GTB/Payments & Cash Management team in Switzerland in Marketing and Sales Activities with Corporates and Non-Bank Financial Institutions. You will report to the Head of the GTB Switzerland.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Assist Head of Business Unit in the commercial steering:

    • prepare portfolio pipeline reviews and KPIs;

    • close monitoring the development of the client base;

    • pricing reviews.

  • Support Sales Managers with client call/ commercial campaigns preparations;

  • Participate to projects linked to the marketing of our services and to our client base knowledge.

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • University degree with Major in Finance or Law / Compliance.

Language skills:

  • Full proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory;
  • German and French would be an advantage.

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - Excel, Word, Power Point;
  • Interest for commercial steering;
  • Understanding of corporates risk processes;
  • Proactivity, flexibility, adaptability;
  • Time management, organizational, analytical and planning skills;
  • Team Spirit;
  • Good social skills;
  • Customer orientation.
