Day-to-Day Responsibilities:


Support the implementation of the annual Compliance Risk Assessment including campaign planning, and execution. Help develop and administer the Compliance Risk Assessment data infrastructure:

    • Assist in the development and maintenance of a Compliance Risk Assessment database
  • Assist in the maintenance of key documentation, including CRA Methodology, Guidance and Training
  • Assist in the engagement and support of Compliance Subject Matter Experts
  • Assist in the annual refresh of the Compliance Risk Taxonomy
  • Assist in the engagement and support of the Regulatory Change team
  • Assist in the collection, mapping and analysis of CRA relevant data*
  • Assist in the tracking and reporting of corrective action plans
  • Assist with regulatory remediation efforts


*Data Analysis

    • Assist with maintenance of data pertaining to Key Risk Indicators.
      • Periodic collection of CRA relevant data
      • Identification of automation opportunities related to the collection of data
      • Analysis and maintenance of data to include trending, correlation analysis etc.
      • Mapping and organization of data such that it is readily accessible and easy to digest
      • Manipulation of data to produce indicative ratings and data informed commentary




Support the ongoing development of the online CRA tool and Compliance GRC platform

    • Support functional design development efforts for the Compliance Risk Assessment tool
    • Develop supporting material for User Acceptance Test workshops with stakeholders
    • Assist in engagement of the Digital Technology Office (DTO) team

Profile required

Educational Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant discipline


Languages: (Other than English) French a plus but not required.

In accordance with Regulatory expectations and Industry Best Practice, the Compliance Risk Assessment team is responsible for managing the process by which Compliance Subject Matter Experts independently identify and evaluate material Regulatory Obligations, associated Compliance risks and the effectiveness of mitigating controls in place. The scope of this annual assessment covers applicable business lines and service units from across the US, Brazil and Canada.  Output from the Annual Compliance Risk Assessment is utilized to identify and drive corrective action plans aimed at enhancing existing controls or adding new controls, it also serves as a cornerstone of the broader Americas Compliance Risk Management Framework and provides valuable information to Compliance: monitoring and testing, policies, surveillance, training, technology and the annual Compliance plan activities. It also informs the various Business Areas and Service Units assessed of their respective Compliance risk and control profiles as well as any resulting corrective action plans that they will either need to own or be kept informed of.
