Profile required

Past experience 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or similar discipline required, Master’s degree desired
  • Prior internship experience in banking industry preferred
  • Ability to analyze and understand data (ability to derive patterns, trends and insights) and summarize the findings


  • Fluent English
  • French is a plus

Technical skills 

  • Proficient with MS Office suite, particularly strong proficiency with Excel

Personal abilities 

  • Ability to communicate effectively and succinctly to colleagues

Ability to work with other team members (team spirit)

Business insight

Independent from the Business Lines, the RISQ Division's mission is to contribute to the development of the SG Group's activity by facilitating the objectives of the Business Lines while maintaining independent oversight through risk evaluation and monitoring. The RISQ division in the US supports all the activities in the Americas Region (US, Canada and Latin America).

This role will provide the successful applicant direct involvement in the analysis of a portfolio of corporates and financial institutions clients. The role reports to the Head of Portfolio Analytics Group and works closely with colleagues in Credit Assessment Group and Asset Restructuring & Recovery Management team.

The successful candidate will be able to analyze and monitor the quality of the credit portfolios; identify drivers of risk.
