The risk professional sought for this position will be a member of the Risk Identification and Assessment (RIA) team being part of the SG US Enterprise Risk Management Team.
Day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Risk Identification and Assessment (RIA) campaign execution
Interact with the Front Office (MARK, GLBA, GTPS) and dedicated risk functions (e.g. Market, Credit, Operational) to collect data and ensure accuracy
Support the team in executing the Regional Risk Assessment campaign: follow-up on schedule, collect data, prepare and minute meetings, create draft reports, etc.
Support in the aggregation process and integration with other risk assessments
Help develop data analytics
Aid in the production of the final report and other communication to senior management
2.Development of an IT tool or Risk Identification and Assessment
Assist in the development of the technology platform to enhance the RIA workflow process
Update relevant documents (e.g. business requirements)
Test and ensure functionality
3. Tasks related to integration of risks with ERM, including risk appetite and stress testing -
Work with different risk functions to ensure material risks captured in RIA are considered for use in Enterprise-Wide Stress testing
Ensure material risks are appropriately monitored through the monthly committee review process
Check to make sure material risks captured through the RIA campaign are linked to the Risk Appetite Statement
4.New Product Committee
Assist in the weekly NPC meeting preparation by tracking the opinions provided by each of the RISQ stakeholders
Collect risk stripe opinions for each and consolidate them into a comprehensive memo for presentation to the US CRO
Ensure adequate closure of any conditions assigned to stakeholders during the NPC process
Perform Quarterly Controls on the NPC process
