Responsibilities

Job Description:

You will be a front office developer part of the Digital, Automation and Transformation Team (DAT).

You will be involved in the support and development of several applications used daily by cross asset sales teams and traders. You will work closely with sales and engineers to understand their needs and develop solutions to automate and optimize their processes.

You will develop your skills in software and web developments from coding to server management. You will also develop your financial skills and improve your understandings of structured products, option pricing, trading processes, legal documentations, booking processes, etc.

The applications you will work on are involved in several Front Office activities:

  • Automate structured products pricing
  • Automate hedging orders computation
  • Automate trades reporting
  • Automate trades booking workflows
  • Automate generation of marketing/legal trades documentations

The usual technical stack used by the team is:

  • Back-End: Python (Flask)
  • Front-End: Angular (Typescript)/HTML5/CSS
  • Database: MongoDB (NoSQL)
  • Versioning: Git (Github)
  • Continuous Integration: Jenkins/Artifactory/PyTest

Profile required

Candidate Profile:

The candidate shall:

  • be proficient in Python
  • be proficient in Javascript/Angular (Typescript)/HTML/CSS
  • have a solid level in software/web developments/design patterns/algorithmic
  • have good knowledge in SQL/NoSQL databases (SQL/MongoDB)
  • have good knowledge in Git
  • have strong communication skills
  • have good team spirit and capacity to work as a team
  • have strong motivation
  • have strong commitment
  • have a high level of curiosity
  • have an appetence to discover and learn more about financial market

It is a plus, if the candidate:

  • have some knowledge in server management/application deployment/continuous integration (Jenkins, Docker, Windows server, …)
  • have some knowledge in VBA
  • have some knowledge in structured products
  • have some knowledge in option pricing

The Digital Automation and Transformation team (DAT) is part of the Financial Engineering Group. DAT is composed of Software Engineers developing applications to automate and improve sales, traders and engineers’ processes.
