Responsibilities

Base Salary Range:[$86,000 - $110,000]
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.

Division Description:

Global Banking and Advisory (GLBA) combines recognized wholesale coverage with world-class product, financing, and advisory expertise within one team, enabling us to best support our clients. On the one hand, our transversal, product-neutral coverage teams span all businesses to promote the bank's products and services to our clients globally, and on the other, we provide world-class capital raising, financing and advisory expertise.


Responsibilities:

Working directly with the Technology Coverage & Investment Banking team and business partners.

Day to day responsibilities (under the supervision of the Technology Coverage Banking team) include but are not limited to the preparation of:

  • Pitch presentations (slide creation and binding)
  • Pre-Screening / Support Memos (business cases and client profitability analysis)
  • Profitability analysis (advanced Excel modeling) for prospective transactions
  • Acquisition finance modeling (Three-statement, Discounted Cashflow, Merger, Consolidation)
  • Client profile development
  • Participation in client meetings
  • Special sector studies as needed
  • Various internal reports and operational Coverage team support
  • Corporate Finance data gathering on individual clients or industrial sectors
  • Interaction with business line product specialists on specific client initiatives
  • Tracking of live deal and pitch communication for current and prospective clients
  • Yearly budget, periodic income forecast, income correction campaigns on the portfolio
  • Communication with clients for periodic Know Your Client document updates

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Required:

  • Strong Financial Accounting and Corporate Finance skillset
  • Financial modeling ability
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (personality fit is very important)
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Desired:

  • Knowledge of bank products (can be learned over time)

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Strong interest in finance and global capital markets

Desired:

  • Prior experience in accounting, asset management, consulting, or investment banking
  • Prior internship or work experience in corporate and investment banking, accounting, credit underwriting, asset management, or consulting

Required:

  • FINRA Series 79 & 63 registrations (successful completion of exams within 3-months of joining, if candidate is not already registered)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or other
