Investment Banking Vice President – Healthcare Industry Group (m/f/d)
Ihre aufgaben
As a VP in the Healthcare team you will work on the origination and execution of Investment Banking mandates in the healthcare sector. This includes a wide variety of tasks, like preparation of and participating in client meetings as well as playing a leading role in the execution of transactions across the spectrum of SG’s banking products.
You will be involved in the below tasks with an increasing level of responsibility:
- You will prepare presentation materials and attend client meetings primarily focused on winning M&A, equity and debt financing mandates
- You will support the coverage of priority clients of the bank from a corporate finance perspective
- You will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of M&A, IPO as well as leverage and acquisition financing transactions
- You will monitor and evaluate industry developments and prepare company and sector analyses
- You will support on origination efforts by conducting target and / or buyer screenings and analyses and develop own origination ideas
- You will review financial models and company valuations based on all relevant methodologies, including trading and transaction multiples, DCF and LBO
- You will train and guide Associates, Analysts, interns and VIEs

Experience and Technical Skills
- Strong prior investment banking experience
- At least six years work experience in investment banking / corporate finance with a focus on M&A origination and execution, or otherwise relevant work experience in healthcare with a top tier consulting or financial services house
- Very good Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Business Administration, or healthcare related degree
- Ability to comfortably interact with clients in a professional and mature manner
- Ideally previous knowledge in the Healthcare industry
- Strong technical and analytical skills
- Fluency in English is essential and fluency in any other European language would be beneficial
