Responsibilities

Candidate will be a member of the TMT and Digital Infrastructure group within IBD, which originates, structures, and executes syndicated loan transactions for middle-market companies and projects across a variety of industries to support leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, refinancing’s, development, construction, and restructurings.

  • Responsible for the full execution of a transaction, including developing commercial proposals and capital structuring, due diligence, preparation of credit papers, obtaining necessary credit approvals, negotiation of term sheets, commitment/support letters and credit documentation, the subsequent syndication phase, and closing and funding. Ensure all relevant risks are identified and addressed. Manage the Associates and Analysts within a deal team to ensure that a high quality of output is produced within the deadlines established.
  • Maintain all the various workstreams with third party due diligence providers including Lender Technical Advisors, Appraisers, Insurance Consultants, Marker Study providers, etc
  • Maintain a proper collaboration and coordination with other activities of the bank with a view towards offering and providing the best financing solutions and execution to our client base.
  • Monitor the credit risks inherent within the new business activity and the existing portfolio for which primary responsibility is given; proactively generate new business opportunities as appropriate
  • Become a productive member of the group senior leadership team by contributing to the development of the necessary strategies and actions that address the evolving market and competitive challenges and opportunities in both the nearer and longer-terms, to include anticipation of potential business opportunities and preparation of pitches to clients
  • Maximize the cross-selling and ancillary revenue contribution from the portfolio companies assigned.
  • Promote team cohesiveness and morale within a high-pressure, work-intensive, and deadline-sensitive work environment; be an advocate of the bank and a positive role model for our junior bankers; assist with the training and development of junior bankers

Profile required

  • Strong understanding and competency of all aspects of the leveraged finance and capital markets businesses, from origination to structuring to execution to distribution, and including the evolving regulatory framework and capital treatment and formation trends
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and ability to review financial models and provide guidance to Analysts and Associates in the team 
  • Solid communication skills; ability to get ideas across and present views in a clear, concise, and persuasive manner
  • Strong marketing and negotiation skills
  • Strong technical and risk analysis skills; keen ability to identify the key risk and credit factors and events 
  • Strong attention to detail
  • 7+ years of experience

COMPENSATION & SALARY RANGE:

Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
