IT Application Manager

  • Have a good understanding of apps lifecycle management and basic technical knowledge  to identify and define enhancements on existing applications and their operating environments.
  • Work with application owners and other stakeholders on an improvement backlog of deliverables aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Provide inputs, support and challenge process or operating model to constantly identify opportunities on simplification and delivery efficiency.
  • Effective vendor management skills. Be able to contribute actively on support conversations with external vendors to bring values to bank and achieve service excellence.
  • Develop opportunities for process standardization and efficiency across delivery portfolio
  • Formulates and defines scope and objectives for changes through research and fact-finding combined with a basic understanding of business systems and industry standards; documents requirements.
  • Participates in validation and testing activities.
  • Has limited but direct impact on the business through quality of activities provided; impacts team and closely related teams.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned

Profile required

Academic  Background (degree and major)

  • Bachelor Degree or above, Computer Science Major Preferred.

Working Experience / Technical Skills & Know how

  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience;
  • Experience on vendor application/tools;
  • Project management experience;
  • IT risk awareness.
  • Basic software skills: Linux, DB or Java ;
  • Knowledge of the cash management and payment is a plus

Skills & Competencies

  • Project management.
  • Business requirement analysis

Language Skills

  • Mandarin speaker.
  • Fluent in English

Professional Qualification (if applicable)

  • PMP certification is a plus

SG China, head quarter based in Beijing, has 40 years present in China market. Its IT department, consist of 3 sub-teams GTS, FTB IT and REG IT, is responsible for all local IT infrastructure/application maintenance and evolution to support different business lines in China including Cash Management, Trade Finance etc.

We are looking for a talent to join the FTB IT team in Beijing office. The candidate will mainly focus on application management, including requirement analysis, application lifecycle management, vendor management, risk remediation etc.
