Base Salary Range: $62,000 - $260,000
Base salary range does not include overtime pay, bonus and/or other benefits, where applicable. Actual base salary offer will vary based on skills and experience.
Your primary role as Information Technology Business Analyst (IT BA), is part of Finance, Risk and Market data (FRM) unit responsible for creating, maintaining, and enhancing Information systems supporting Finance & Risk management.
Primary tasks include, but not limited to
- Information Technology Business Analyst(IT BA), for Accounting, Regulatory & Risk reporting , s/he will be responsible to
- Work closely with first and second line of defense (Risq & Finance) for gathering business requirements
- Write business & functional requirements.
- Automate design solution using data transformation tools.
- Review quality of delivery by performing functional testing
- For each deliverable also ensure the followings
- Support & co-ordinate user testing & production releases.
- Estimate effort and ensure timely delivery
- Manage several streams of work concurrently
- Give clear and consistent reports to the clients and management
- Ensure that release management / change management processes are followed
- Rely on IT best practices to improve quality of development
- Assess risks and develop contingent strategies
- Participate as a motivated, proactive, and highly contributing member of the global team
Profile required
Profile Required:
- 5+ years of working experience as an IT business analyst for software product development.
- Experience in preparing clear specification & prototype for software development
- Dynamic, detail oriented, fast learning capacity and able to work in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Experience in performing functional testing.
- Very good interpersonal skills.
- Strong reasoning and communication skills.
- Understanding banking and market products, risk methodologies, practices, and procedures.
- Skilled in SQL and data analysis
- Experience with using any ETL tools.
- Working in an agile team
- An understanding of continuous integration and continuous delivery
Plus:
- 3+ years of working experience in finance industry.
- Valuable experience in liquidity risk projects.
- Strong knowledge of programming design patterns.
- Programming skills [VBA, python, PLSQL,..]
EDUCATION
Required: BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Plus: Degree in finance
LANGUAGES
Required: English
