IT Infrastructure Expert (m/f/d)

  • You will be part of local project management teams for IT infrastructure related projects like  e.g. Obsolescence / Livecycle or Business related projects
  • You will provide 2nd level on-site support to end users for cases that cannot be resolved by 1st level support (Client Services Desk). In particular you will be the contact person for 2nd level support for standard office applications (Office 2016) etc.
  • You will take over administrative tasks as well as the configuration of server and network components (AD, VSphere, Windows2012/2016, Cisco). This may include sizing and purchasing.
  • You willl support the centralized administration of storage and backup infrastructure 

    (NetApp, Networker tape management).

  • You’ll support administration of Unified Communications infrastructure (Skype, Cisco video conferencing)
  • You will participate in Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery processes to minimize work disruption.

Profile Required

Experience and technical skills:

  • Master in Information Technology Science or equivalent
  • Several years of experience in Infrastructure
  • Broad knowledge and experience of IT operating systems including Microsoft Windows client operating systems & Microsoft Office
  • Good command of the IT  Infrastructure Library
  • Experience in the roll-out of software updates and patches
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is required
  • Knowledge in basic system scripting & programming (vbs, perl, Java, powershell, …) is helpful
