We are looking for a strong leader, team player and IT strategist that will be in charge of a team in two locations in an international environment. The ideal candidate is either a tech-savvy person with Trading experience or an experienced IT with strong interest in Trading activities. Both will appreciate freedom to experiment with technology and the opportunity to be involved in day to day Trading activities.

You are responsible of a team providing several services to your aligned business line/development teams. In this context, the mission consists in:

Managing team activity: collection of business/project requests, establishment of a prioritization process with key stakeholders, support of development teams throughout the complete development life cycle
Managing environment: providing an adequate environment to the team
Quality of release: ensuring quality of the release process and controlling its impacts on production
Interface to Infrastructure: correct configuration and sizing of infrastructure supporting managed IT landscape (especially balance between performance and costs) in collaboration with Infrastructure IT department (GTS)
Production support: ensuring quality support (level 1 and 2) facing the business and providing quick solutions in case an incident occurs.
Managing people: ensuring quality of team members deliveries through regular follow-up, setting ambitious objectives (operational and personal development), providing frequent feedback and taking care of the evaluation processes. Making sure the team is having a collaborative mindset for tasks requiring work with other teams or locations is key.
Managing budget/costs: follow up of the cost of your entity that must be aligned with budget defined

Ihr profil

Experience & technical Skills:

Completed studies in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration with focus on IT
Significant work experience in comparable domain of trading technology
Tech-savvy person with Trading experience or an experienced IT with strong interest in Trading activities
You easily understand IT concepts, architecture and have experience working with deployment, configuration, monitoring and other types of tools
You have experience working with Python, Java and/or C#
You have managed people or teams with proven results
Fluent English and German is necessary to work in an international environment (spoken, written)

Supported products include a wide range of Warrants & Certificates, ETFs and CFDs, and the entity is covering front-to-back services among which Market-Making, Issuance and Life-cycle management of products, Regulatory compliance and Promotion capabilities. The business relies heavily on IT. State-of-the-art and built in-house applications are constantly subject to evolutive maintenance and involved in numerous projects each year. Business development, improvement and automation of Trading strategies, coverage of new business are among our top priorities. The IT trading technology team pvide Pricing, Hedging, Position and Risk management tactical solutions in very short development cycles. It leverages capabilities offered by industrial applications. Working directly in the Trading room, the team operates hand-in-hand with Traders and interacts frequently with other IT teams. The team members are based in Frankfurt and in Paris.
