The Finance Department of Global Banking and Investor Solutions (GBIS), is a global organization with local presence, providing the same set of services through global and efficient processes and consistent norms, leveraging on production hubs. The Corporate Treasury - Asset Liability Management  (TRE-ALM) group of the Finance Department is responsible for (1) raising funding and (2) managing liquidity, interest rate, and FX risks in the Americas
  Day-to-Day Responsibilities:  TRE-ALM is looking for an analyst to join its talented team. The analyst will work on diverse topics within the ALM function, with primary focus on (1) interest rate risk in the banking book (2) investment portfolio analysis and (3) funds transfer pricing. The position is quantitative with strong focus on fixed income portfolio management topics. This is a strategy role that will provide great foundational learning in bank balance sheet management and the interaction of multiple risk disciplines.

Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting senior team members in the following:
1. Measurement and forecast of interest rate risk in SG Americas from earnings and economic value perspectives in various stress scenarios
2. Management of interest rate risk through the use of derivatives or natural offsets
2. Assessment of interest rate risk in new product proposals from business lines
3. Development of  funds transfer pricing dashboards
4. Development of CIO/ investment portfolio dashboards
5. Implementation of balance sheet control frameworks
6. Identification of opportunities for enhancement/ automation within ALM
7. Development of senior management/ committee presentations
8. Working on risk, internal audit findings


Profile required

Competencies, Skills and Qualifications:  Skills:
1. Strong understanding of financial products and fixed income topics
2. Strong excel skills with ability to write VBA
3. Understanding of risk management and Basel framework

•Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent
