Junior Strategist - Global Markets - Analyst/Associate

 Major Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:

1. Write market reports on Japan equity investment, ESG, green transitions and thematic baskets in coordination with Asia Research team and Global Equity Strategy team

2. Present global equity strategy themes to Japan-based clients and internal stakeholders

3. Oversee Japanese translation of English reports on equity strategy, asset allocation and ESG

4. Support the Head of Research for Japan about economist role

5. Participate in team calls

6. Participate in SG events/media to raise SG's profile in Japan and other regions that are aligned with SG’s franchise

Profile required

Key Skill Areas & knowledge Required:

1. Solid understanding of equity markets in Japan, the US and Europe

2. Solid understanding of ESG

3. Solid understanding of economic indicators in Japan, the US and Europe

4. Strong knowledge of Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

5. Strong quantitative skills and knowledge of statistical software such as R and Eviews

6. Native Japanese

7. Fluent English
