Responsibilities

·         10+ years of experience in project management, on global scale projects, preferably within the Investment banking industry

·         Good understanding of KYC norms and standards

·         Proven leadership & motivational skills and experience

·         Specific expertise in interacting and working with large processing / operations teams in the IB domain and in managing an on-shore / off-shore operating model

·         Track record of providing guidance and direction in complex problems by applying knowledge, analytical skills and own judgment to determine suitable course of action

·         Understanding of business architecture, processes and technology challenges and innovations in the Investment Banking domain

·         Excellent communication and negotiation skills while dealing with internal stakeholders including business, IT and support as well as external vendors

·         Ability to work in a complex, results-driven work environment in a culturally diverse and geographically spread team with varying level of knowledge and skills set

·         Experience in managing projects of varying size and complexity involving regional, local and external stakeholders

·         Clear Understanding of project lifecycle, methodologies e.g. requirement gathering, stakeholder management, risk assessment matrix, status reports, dashboard, schedule and budget forecast and planning

·         PMP certification is an advantage


Profile Required

·         Understand project objectives and identify the right points of contact in business to effectively execute the change management process

·         Set-up workshops with Senior stakeholders to understand and implement the roles and responsibilities at various steps in the KYC process

·         Ensure Sampling and tooling of the QA magazine for traceability

·         Set-up appropriate governance for the program and/or align to initiative governance structure in line with SG standard practices and methodologies

·         Taking lead in identifying and preparing best practice methodologies for the smooth execution and delivery of the project

·         Strict adherence to timelines and quality of project deliverables

·         Design and deploy tools, frameworks and methodologies in the areas of organization design, change management, and reorganization

·         Present status updates including risks, issues, dependencies in appropriate forums and provide guidance to projects on mitigation

·         Re-align priorities based on high level objectives with conflicting demands without losing sight of the big picture

·         Pro-active issues and risk identification and highlighting to the Sponsors and stakeholders concerned


Business Insight

The KTP offshoring program supports the KYC program from the two production hubs located in SGEBS (Bucharest) and SGGSC (Bangalore).   The KTP program has several streams and one of the streams is the Roles and responsibility stream. This stream defines the Roles and responsibilities at a group level for the key steps in the KYC process.
