Responsibilities

  • Work with the Product Owners / Business Analysts of the Application to gather requirements, refine backlog and pass on the details to the Agile Feature Team members for development  

  • Refines the product's requirements to ensure they maintain cohesion with the business needs for the product, identify and mitigate risk early in the project  

  • Provides just-in‐time requirements to avoid waste or rework of requirements.  

  • Ensures that the right solution is delivered.  

  • Be a facilitator in complex environments, bringing divergent business stakeholders together and helping them speak with a single voice so the project team is not confused by contradictory and conflicting perspectives.  

  • Must play a central role in defining and communicating the acceptance criteria prior to development work commencing.  

  • Will be involved in creating and executing acceptance tests, break down vision into requirements and provide accurate estimation of the same 

  • Can at a future point of time may play a role in identifying important requirements that might not have been actively represented by stakeholders.  

  • It is incumbent on the analyst to constantly review requirements with the business stakeholders and ensure that any shifts in business needs are accurately reflected in future releases of the product.  

  • Active participant of planning, analyzing, testing, and demonstrating activities.  

  • Active Participant of all the Agile Ceremonies 

  • Work with Business and Ops and prepare AS-IS and TO-BE documents clearly

  • Work with Functional Architect and Technical Architect and arrive feasible solution and ensure ROI

Must have skills:

  • Strong Experience in study, analyze, design , test in  on Anyone of  Compliance Processing Tools such as - Sentinel Portfolio (Fidessa), linedata Compliance (linedata), Charles River Compliance (Charles River), CSD (SIMCORP)MIG21 or In-House  Trustee

  • Strong understanding of Agile practices, roles and methodologies.

  • Experience in Compliance (Trustee) & Financial instruments

  • Strong understanding of CD practices & tools (JIRA)

  • Good background on Oracle PL/SQL .

  • Hands on experience on any ETL tool.

  • Good background on preparation and performing functional testing.

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Profile required

Experience : 4+ Years

Mandatory Skills : Business Analyst in Investment Banking , preferably in Funds  Accounting / Custody Services

Job Description:

  • S/He should have functional / domain knowledge Funds Compliance Processing , Back Office Post NAV Processing , Cash Recon , Cash Balance and Breaches.

  • S/He should have worked on various Funds  such as  PERE, Debt Funds, ETF and FoF etc.

  • S/He should have sound domain knowledge on Funds Compliance Processing, Trades and settlements and Fund Accounting

  • S/He should have knowledge on Fund Administration and Accounting , Post Pricing Validation , Control Creations , NAV , Cash Balance and Cash Reconciliations.

  • S/He should have worked on Any of Compliance Procession Applications  such as SIMCORP, CHARLES RIVER and MIG21.

  • S/He should have worked in designing application (from scratch) such as Pricing Validation or Compliance  or Regulatory Reports Systems  (Axiom or In-house application).

  • S/He should have worked in Fund Administration  ETL , Reference Data, Master Data such as  BBG, Golden Source, NAV Inventories.

  • Prior Functional Analysis knowledge is also expected on the above areas

  • Should have prior experience in working in transformation projects

  • The ideal candidate will be a Business Analyst within the  Agile Features Team for the Client facing Payments Application 

  • S/ He will work with Product Owners , Business Analysts  at onshore and offshore to understand the deliverable related to the application and document them in JIRA and other tools as applicable 

  • S/He is well versed and has had experience in understanding / preparing, Business Requirements Document and Functional Specification Documents 

  • S/He should have strong analytical skills and be able to arrive at the Acceptance Criteria for a specific requirement and should be able to provide all functional nuances to the Development and QA members for  the same 

  • S/He should also be aware of Functional Testing practices and should take up responsibility of Functional Testing to move the code change to production 

  • S/He will be take ownership of the tasks that is taken up by her / him

  • Plan Business Analysis Approach (Backlog Management, Planning Workshop, Real Options, Retrospectives).

  • Conduct Stakeholder Analysis (Collaborative games, personas, Value Stream Mapping).

  • Think as a Customer (User Story, Story Mapping, Story Decomposition, Story Elaboration, Storyboarding, Acceptance Criteria).

  • Analyze to Determine What is Valuable 

  • Stimulate Collaboration and Continuous Improvement (Collaborative games, Retrospectives).

  • Avoid Waste (Lightweight Documentation, Automated Testing) . 

  • S/He should be able to work in under pressure and target.

  • S/He should be able to multitask.

Good to have skills:       

  • Project Management Professional Certified / Agile Project Management Certified / Certified Scrum Product Owner

  • Have knowledge on European Trustee Regulatories,  European Directives such as AIFMD, UCITS, COMOFI.
