Lead Business Analyst

• General understanding of data quality (knowledge of BCBS 239 requirements on DQ would be an added benefit)
• Data analysis using SQL queries against Oracle and Microsoft SQL server databases
• Added advantage if prior knowledge on IDQ (Informatica Data Quality)
• Monitor & Investigate data quality of critical data elements
• Capture and report results through dashboards or other reports
• Compile and report monthly DQ metrics to stakeholders
• Work with data domains to document business requirements and DQ rules.
• Monitor issues in Service-Now Application and create dashboard reports
• Run and analyze the results of data queries necessary to identify data quality issues and presents   results in an easy-to-understand format to end users.
• Root cause analysis & participates in data quality meetings, engages data producers and consumers to resolve data issues.
• Follow up on remediation plans with application/teams and update stakeholders
• Review, track, create KPI’s and communicate with the stakeholders on assessment of manual data quality metrics for the critical data elements.
• Report on issues in a timely manner.
• Identifies areas of improvement to achieve DQ standards.

Profile required

• Strong contributor in a Data Analysis project
• Industry experience, relating to risk, reference, capital markets, operations, lending and/ or finance data
• Run experience in both large and small-scale projects on DQ initiatives are an advantage
• Strong analytical and database reporting skills
• Organized and methodical
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to troubleshoot issues in a multi-tier environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Experience in the architecture of data; how data is integrated across application layers within application subsystems and business domains.
