Responsibilities
- Strong analytical ability to investigate complex issues
- Performing daily monitoring, in accordance with SLA/OLA and SOP’s.
- Perform detailed investigation and escalate to relevant team with analysis.
- Knowledge of Incident, Request, Problem & Change management including post mortem analysis as per ITIL guidelines.
- Handle Production incidents and requests with periodic updates.
- Contribute towards knowledge sharing sessions , propose improvement actions.
- Implement automations to gain efficiency. Contribute to sustain and improve production support practices
- Familiar with Agile practices and Agile way of working will be an advantage
- Focus on upskilling to learn new technologies/ processes.
- Escalate issues and other topics to the right team when needed
- Update and Share production information with the other team members, hand over topics to next shift teams.
Profile required
- Primary Skills : L1/L2 Production Support on Oracle, SQL, PL/SQL UNIX
- Secondary Skills: BigData technologies, C# knowldge will be an advantage
- knowledge on Unix & Shell Scripting
- Exposure on Scripting automation / Batch optimization using Shells.
- Basic knowledge on Middleware technologies and Scheduling tools ( Tibco, FTB, Autosys etc) would be an advantage
- Good exposure on Monitoring tools & implementation
- Good working experience on writing code to automate manual processes
- Able to analyze code in SQL/PLSQL and Java and propose/make changes to the code based on the requirements
- Good knowledge on any RDBMS technologies & able to interpret PL/SQL scripting.
- Basic Awareness of CD/CI concepts, Devops will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of banking domain, deal transactions will be helpful.
