· Perform accounting activities (Journal entries, reconciliation spread, etc.) and controls and produce reporting files for Medium to High Risk Entities with Medium to High Complexity.
· Review, Analyze and perform process controls like variance analysis, consistency checks, SOP updates etc
· Reconcile breaks and post corrections. Process low to High Complexity Manual adjustments in general ledger.
· Communication with Finance Departments and regional CFO team.
· Actively coordinate with supporting teams (GBSU ) on resolution of breaks/queries.
· Support L2 controls team, Internal audit and External audit on process related queries.
Mainly responsible for SGIL Accounting on Product accounting & General Accounting deliverables for Prime clearing services in UK (SGIL).
Responsible for individual contribution for the designated assignments and for backing up team's assignments on Month end accounting for Product and General accounting aspects.
Accountable for the investigation and review of the Financial Statements for designated Business Lines
RTB Quality - Focus on tactical solution to meet immediate needs necessary for firms to continue to run the bank.
Accuracy and clear understanding of the manual adjustments posted, documentation and proper justification of the validations
Comprehensive and detailed commentary for significant variances on Balance sheet and OBS
Maintain update date Runbook and make it as single point reference
Providing Knowledge based insights on the process and action plan for Open/Outstanding items
Making sure the deadlines on Ledger closure and balance sheet certification are adhered to, Reduce late journals via operational mistakes
Make sure the knowledge leverage of the team is intact by Equipping ourselves on Business , Architecture, process and Accounting knowledge, the same should be incorporated in
Sop and updated
Understand the business knowledge framework and work towards query resolution
Completing all mandatory trainings on time
Active participation in team / Stakeholder meetings with Relevant Inputs and follow-ups (wherever required)
