Responsibilities

 


About  DFIN/DOM Regulatory (GSC+EBS)


 


A department comprising of two shores (offshore : GSC & nearshore : EBS) which is mainly involved in the areas of Solvency, Structural Risk & Data Quality functions monitoring through various activities:


o   Control of the trade base quality (notably through accounting & risk consistency control);


o   Production of regulatory and steering metrics;


Production of regulatory reporting (notably EBA related regulatory reporting, some local statutory reporting being produced by DFIN/DOM/ACR – Accounting and Reporting teams)


 


About Lead - DOM REG Strategy Core Deliverable (GSC+EBS)


 


DFIN DOM REG Organization is evolving with a good set of ambitions in order to build a strong service offer for the Group. Hence, it is prerogative to build a strategy office whose ambition will be into 4 pillars:

·         Partner with Location Strategy Office & Centre of Excellence on REG cluster


·         DOM REG Management Office


Working within the DOM REG Strategy office, key responsibilities will be to contribute towards the implementation and coordination of the strategy across SG GSC & EBS.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS


 


Value Creation:


·         Measure the current quantum of value add to the topline of the SG Group & support in building strategic plans to move the needle by thinking beyond what is obvious


·         Contribute towards the vision of REG TECH & bring material impact


·         Promote Innovation


·         Reduce Risk & focus on Delivery Excellence


·         Enhance Partner Experience


·         Collaborate with requried stakeholders to achieve efficiency & savings, Continuous Improvement


·         Support DFIN DTO and be enabler around Process re-design and Transformation related topics to ensure the alignment with the strategy




Service Offer Ambition:


 


·         Promote adoption of GSC & EBS solutions and capabilities such as Machine learning solutions, etc.


·         Functional capabilities / service offers: RWA, Certify HQLA & Cash flows, Asset Liability Management Reporting, GAP production for regional CFOs, Finrep / Corep/ Anacredit  etc.


·         Support definition & design of DOM REG Pitch book around department capabilities cluster






DOM REG Management Office:


 


·         Transversal:


o    Collaborate with operations teams and support Permanent & Periodic Supervision / Control implementation


o    Collaborate with all required stakeholders to support and promote Operational Excellence


o   Support Knowledge & Capacity Management initiatives


 


·         KMI (Key Management Indicators):


o    Support building of strategic KMI based on contribution to the topline of the SG Group


o    Prepare status reports for timely communication to DOM WW Leadership, EMR Senior Community


o    Evaluation of Controls Framework - Robustness of existing controls, removing redundant ones, Pro-active instead of reactive


o    Incident management & reporting


o    Support evaluation of resiliency and developing a plan to meet stated resiliency objectives


o    Consolidate, track and report on Audit / CTL / inspection recommendation


o    Collaborate with operations and DTO teams to prepare and report on Projects status, roadmap, key milestones, achievements etc.


o    Communicate periodic messages from the management office around DOM REG newsletter, REG Watch flash reports




Skill set requirement:     


·         Experience in implementing strategy programs


·         Excellent communication skills


·         A strong track record in key stakeholder management and relationship management


·         Ability to think logically and in a structured manner


·         Demonstrated ability in fostering forums to build consensus


·         Able to develop relationships which enable organizational navigation


High level of professional rigor and integrity


o    Support in building functional market intelligence


 


·         Support Partnership Model review and implementation in collaboration with DTO and COO/Project teams
