Responsibilities
The Responsibilities of Data Engineer consists in contributing to:
- Identification of the data to be loaded into the datalake (LUCID)
- Managing the structure of this data
- The construction of our ETL (data cleaning, data transformation to serve our various reports and analyses, cross-referencing with other data sources). This ETL will be designed directly in the datalake based on PySpark developments, with provision in HIVE tables that will be queried by our Data Visualization Tableau Software tool.
- ETL configuration elements (e.g., delivery of certain data to the correct format, deletion of duplicates, volumetry calculations, data enrichment, etc.) and associated documentation
- Participation in workshops for the implementation of new use cases
- Help in defining new use-cases for analyzing relevant data, to retrieve in the datalake and transform the data necessary for these new uses-cases.
- Analysis and visualization of results in Tableau Software (production of dashboards showing the results of analyses)
- Performing the daily DIVA platform morning check (rotating role in the overall team)
Profile required

- Python, Shell Scripting, PySpark, ETL, Tableau, Hadoop, Spark
- Cloud Fundamentals [ Azure, AWS]
Soft Skills:
- Good Understanding of AGILE/SCRUM methodologies and Project Management Skills
- Good Stakeholder Management
- Have Experience working in teams which are spread across different geographies
- Good Communication Skills
