Responsibilities
- Expert knowledge of IBM MFT Product suite (Sterling Connect:Direct, Sterling File gateway, Sterling integrator, Sterling secure proxy, Sterling Control Center etc) on different platforms(AIX, Unix, Windows).
- Expert in software installation and configuration of IBM MFT Product suite
- Provides high-level technical support to customers, vendors, programmers and various stake holders, using IBM MFT Product suite.
- Expertise on various communication protocols such as FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP, HTTP/S, AS2 etc.
- Expertise in automating the MFT platform maintenance activities - server's fix pack/patch upgrades and scheduled restarts, backup's using automation technologies Ansible, IBM uDeploy, Atrifactory and GIT.
- Expertise on implementing encryption/decryption methods(secure+).
- Experience in the creation of Consumer, Producer, Routing channel, Routing channel template creation, Mailbox
Profile required
- Oversee installation, configuration and maintenance of IBM MFT Product suite (Sterling Connect:Direct, Sterling File gateway, Sterling integrator, Sterling secure proxy, sterling control center etc) on various operating systems.
- Provides high-level technical support to customers, vendors, programmers and various stake holders, using IBM MFT Product suite.
- Troubleshoots problems(where business impact is high) encountered when file transfers are unsuccessful preferably pro-actively.
- Participate in projects to support system software, provide functionality.
- Manage event rules for file transmissions and Connect: Direct processes.
- Maintains vendor, customer and provider relationships.
- Continuous improvement of the File transfer service.
- Involving in problem identification and root cause analysis.
- Responsible for system architecture and design.
