M&A Senior Analyst - M/W

Responsibilities

Tasks and responsibilities:

The analyst that will be part of Société Générale CIB M&A team based in Milan will support the team in:

  • Building complex financial models and completing valuation, mergers and other analytical exercises;
  • Drafting of presentations for M&A transactions or strategic client dialogue;
  • Working closely with the rest of Team to create client deliverables and meet ad-hoc client requests;
  • Closely collaborating with various industries, countries and other products’ colleagues during origination and execution stages;
  • Perform industry and company research to support business development and on an ad-hoc basis.

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • A well-rounded academic background from a top tier educational institution;
  • At least 2 years prior work experience of Investment Banking at a recognized Investment Bank or financial advisory boutique.

Language skills:

  • Italian – native;
  • Proficiency in English.

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Technically proficient in financial modeling (DCF, Multiples, Merger model, LBO model);
  • Proficiency in MS office applications;
  • Analytical approach to problem solving;
  • Rigorous attention to detail;
  • Ability to work autonomously while also participating collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Strong presentation and communication skills;
  • Strong work ethic with good team/ interpersonal skills.
