The scope of responsibility covers all channels promoting Societe Generale’s image and activities in India, in coordination with the respective contact(s) of the regional communication team.

●        Manage a team of resources that includes writers, design, and other experts to implement the communication plan for Societe Generale in India, in collaboration with communication leads

o    Put in place a process for production of collateral and content, to effectively manage the resources in the team

o    Create process that builds on creativity and ideation, as well as knowledge of communication intent to create impactful communications and collaterals

o    Work with communication leads to understand and plan priorities and manage support accordingly

●        Manage, develop and coordinate the various technology channels including web, intranet, collaboration and community building technologies, social media, tools etc.

o    Identify and deploy channels, technologies and tools relevant for achieving communications objectives

o    Manage existing channels such as website, intranet, internal tools, social media and other tools

o    Define and manage the local digital ecosystem: manage CMS and ensure community management

o    Publish, track and monitor content on all channels

o    Advise on content and brand approach relevant to various channels

o    Work with relevant teams and experts to develop channels and their effectiveness

o    Represent effectiveness of communications and brand with relevant metrics and dashboards from channels

●        Content and editorial strategy for developing an employer brand, both internally and externally

o    Plan content pipeline and calendar along with communication leads

o    Develop and implement content and editorial strategy through feedback and monitoring of engagement and reach on all channels

●        Manage the process of production for all forms of content and collateral

o    Understand communication plans and briefs of various types and translate these into deliverables

o    Setting expectations on what is required for high quality content and design, with impactful communication

o    Produce regular content, integrating focus on business activities and corporate culture, in line with regional editorial plan

o    Manage GSC newsletters as and when published

o    Ensuring brand guidelines and other communication sensitivities are taken care of

o    Manage the process of producing material including content, articles, videos, collateral

●        Working with vendors and partners to execute on various communications requirements

o    Identifying suitable vendors and partners required for the process of delivering communications

o    Ensuring consistent brand and quality of deliverables with various vendors and partners

o    Support sourcing of merchandising products and gifts, e.g. greeting cards, corporate gifts

●        Events:

o    Deliver client (Corporate, Business, Social – if relevant) and institutional events locally, in collaboration with Business lines when relevant

o    Create staff engagement through events supporting citizenship/internal social activities, in collaboration with HR

o    Support HR for student fairs and campus events, as relevant

The role implies also to assist the other Communication team members across Asia-Pacific as and when required.


●        Proven record in developing and implementing transversal communication strategies (using different channels, targeting different audiences, and promoting a wide range of image items)

●        Experience in the financial industry

●        Experience of team management

●        Strong writing, conceptualisation, and execution skills

●        Ability to manage dependencies and troubleshoot

●        Strong stakeholder management skills

●        Strong relationship and adaptation skills: a team player with ability to work with all levels of staff in all business/support functions

Profile required

Based in Bangalore, reporting to the Head of Communications, Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, the Manager of the Communications Resource hub is responsible for managing the resources required to activate the communication/marketing functions and strategies.

The Manager of the Communications Resource Hub  will therefore:

●       Support communication leads to promote their respective areas of focus with advice on communication activation strategies and ideas;

●       On the basis of a brief, allocate the right resources to each communication actions

●       Manage on a day to day a team of expert on each relevant communication channel, including content and digital, events, brand design and creative

●       Ensure compliance with communication processes and guidelines

Years of experience: 12+ years of experience, with qualifications in mass communications and media studies
