Manager Feature Engineering

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible to manage a complete feature team or many components of various teams.
  2. Manage application/project with medium to high-level criticality.
  3. Responsible for project delivery and production by managing a team. Coach teams for clear constraints in the delivery plans.
  4. Manage relationships between Product Owner and other key business users.
  5. Provide product vision to the team.
  6. Responsible for budget/capacity planning and allocation to ensure the continuous improvement of the Tribe.
  7. Coordinate with other feature teams and contribute to Service Platform level OKRs.

Profile required

  1. 12 to 15 Years of development experience in Technical
  2. Has experience in Leading Technical Teams using Java, Spring Boot technology stack.  
  3. Has experience in discussing requirements with business POs and Architects, and can derive technical design from the discussions.  
  4. Can work with AMs and PMs in identifying Risks and preparing timeline.  
  5. Well-versed in creating and reviewing Technical Architecture and Designs, and working with Tech Teams in improving same.  
  6. Can review Java code, config, understands Git PR process, craftmanship, CI/CD, and production release and testing best practices – generic or SG-specific.  
  7. Can coordinate with Dev, QA, Business, and Support Team Members across geographies, understand their perspective and suggest solutions.  
  8. Can suggest improvement areas in Development, Testing, Delivery, and Monitoring / Support.
