Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Supervision of one of Back Office Post Exchange teams (covering claims and investigations, reconciliations, charges, corrections related to payment processing)
  • Distribution and assignment of tasks according to volume, sensitivity, skills and availability of the Team
  • Supervision of the activity of Department including production controls and reporting
  • Supporting initiatives related to continuous improvement of processes in the Department
  • Substantial support for the Team and ensuring the correctness and timeliness of the tasks performed by the team
  • Preparing reports and statistics as part of local regulatory obligations and internal rules
  • Perform permanent supervision for the entire scope
  • Support of IT projects related to the Department
  • Team management including conducting recruitment, accompanying, and training newcomers, personal development planning, supporting administrative activities
  • Direct reporting to Head of Back Office

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Master’s degree, specialization in Banking / Finance would be an asset
  • Strong managerial experience (experience in Back Office in a bank will be an added value)

Language skills:

  • Fluency in Polish
  • English – C1 (written and oral)
  • German, French or another European language will be a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Knowledge and understanding of banking products and settlements in commercial payments
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to take initiative
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, commitment and diligence and communication skills
  • Flexibility & very good organization of work
