Responsibilities

• Manages all facets of fraud detection and prevention for Société Generale Global Solution Centre (SG GSC)
• Review the existing policies to identify any gaps in the policies that could lead to employee fraud
• Develops new policies and procedures to prevent fraud activities and to recover any incurred losses.
• Identifies the weakness of current control process and recommends enhancements.
• Collaborates investigation with appropriate Human Resources Business Partners (HRBP), the Business Lines, Legal and other relevant stakeholders
• Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility
• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments
• stay current with new fraudulent activities that may breach the organization's security measures
• Identify automation / digitization opportunities and develops safety procedures to ensure minimal risk of fraud.
• Research, document, and implement best practices in the industry with regard to fraud prevention.
• Identifies high complexity fraudulent transactions using various research methods and perform data analytics to identify any breaches
• Perform a detailed investigation of cases identified / reported / declared and work with the respective HRBP on the inquiry proceedings, the acknowledgements and the declarations if any
• Prepare a detailed report of the Investigation and share the report with the Governance Committee and coordinate with them for their decision and work with HRBP for implementation of the decision of the Governance Committee
• Track all the cases to timely closure
• Reporting to Senior Management on a periodic basis
• Identify training needs and provides training and guidance to all the relevant employees

Profile Required

Experience : 7 plus years

Location : Bangalore

Prior experience in the Fraud prevention role and managing end to end investigation process
