Responsibilities

Mission: 

The key goal for this new position will be cooperation with Local Front Office and Client Service teams along with global bankers through providing consistent, high quality client service and support to achieve client satisfaction and loyalty.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Client on-boarding and account management activities within the team
  • Supervise the implementation and support of Cash Management products and services
  • Lead, support and develop the European Middle Office team to ensure knowledge and skills required to perform their roles
  • Maximize service quality and operational efficiency while minimizing risk by using appropriate controls
  • Ensure compliance with all group policies, standards and guidelines, local obligations, rules and reporting requirements, including reporting to local regulators
  • Ensure appropriate structure and resources to optimize both service quality and operational efficiency
  • Ensure team’s development and seamless working relationships with all stakeholders of the chain
  • Strive for continuous process improvement in close cooperation with Payments & Cash Management in Paris and Local Desks
  • Handle ad-hoc audit and/or inspection requirements
  • Follow annual people management cycle
  • Ensure close follow-up and execution of internal controls and audit recommendations
  • Promote and implement central initiatives aiming at improving client centricity and satisfaction
  • Report to the Société Générale Warsaw Payments & Cash Management Head of Client Service

Profile required

Studies & experience:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Economics/Banking/Finance with a preference for Corporate Banking specialization
  • Strong working experience in people management (minimum 15 direct reports) is a must have
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in banking industry is a must have
  • Proven international Payments & Cash Management experience

Language skills:

  • Fluency in Polish and English
  • French, German, or another European language will be a plus

Technical, operational & Soft skills:

  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Presentation skills to facilitate team meetings and provide training to clients and colleagues
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize work appropriately
  • Excellent communication skills and collaboration with colleagues from different professional and cultural backgrounds
  • Strong ability to build and develop relationships with internal as well as external clients
