The GBSU/EQD/EXS department provides all IT Execution capabilities, servicing our Equities/Derivatives Principal and Agency businesses. The group provides technical access to a platform that allows for Cross Asset Execution and Electronic Trading.

RTMA Development chapter for AMER/GBSU/EQD/EXEC/EMM, the duties and requirements:
1. Market Access system: debugging, development, maintenance, innovation
2. Provide level 2 support to Production and QA teams
3. Document dev book notes, write test cases and market simulators for all non-emergency
4. Provide business requirements and constraints, technical specifications for Market Access;
5. Provide introduction/help to team members on technical & functional areas.
6. Have the global picture on how Market Access components are integrated in the whole SG
information system

1. Systematic, logical, thorough, and accurate development style, strong problem solving
skills, and good team work
2. Proficient in C++, Linux systems, python, Jira, Jenkins and network essentials
3. Understand business needs and translate them into business specifications
4. Be able to provide cost evaluation and realistic planning
5. Knowledge of electronic market, security, types of compliance rules.
6. Strong knowledge of Dev/QA/Production architecture

During your VIE mission you will be in charge of these responsibilities :

  • Drive and coordinate a variety of technical projects. These projects range from automated monitoring for critical workflows 
    to the creation of tools to help automate server and applications configurations. 
  • Revamp market data static tool and performance monitoring applications

Profile required


  • Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Computer Science
  • A previous experience with: Finance, Ansible, Jenkins  would be appreciated
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Proficient/Good command of MS Office
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient with Linux 
  • Proficient with python
  • Proficient with C++

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in New-York is to begin as soon as possible but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 18 months.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact there that your VIE mission could potentially get postponed, depending on the evolution of the health crisis and subjects to the decision made by the Crisis and Support Centre of the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs (MEAE). In addition, the selected candidate will only be paid upon confirmation from Business France and arrival in the country of assignment.
