Responsibilities

Description of the Business Line or Department

MARK/GRS is the central research department of the Société Générale Corporate & Investment Bank, with activities in equity sector research and macro strategy research (economics, cross asset strategy, quantitative).

GRS serves all types of internal clients and sales globally, but also external clients with a very diversified client base from institutions, hedge funds, private/pension/sovereign funds and family offices

Summary of the key purposes of the role

The role is senior, as it is a mix of high-level content creation and writing and marketing both internal and external with all types of clients.

The candidate will have to be visible and have an impact with internal sales and final clients

Summary of responsibilities 

  • Participate in team work
  • Write fundamental research very regularly on cross asset strategy and US equity strategy
  • Help maintain slidepacks for marketing
  • Active marketing with UK and US clients
  • Be present with internal sales across the business lines
  • Be present with SG engineering and trading teams

Ability to deal with many themes, including sustainable finance and carbon free economy

Knowledge in advanced statistics and programming would be a plus.
