As part of the pre-trade IT department, the ABP development team is in charge of the development and support of all the pricers, risk and reporting tools of the AB business.

The team provides an agile development capability to develop front-office solutions quickly for various US-based small to medium sized projects.

This team of 5 people is based on the trading floor and manages applications deployed in Paris, London, New York and Asia.

Projects will involve working with ITEC and Front Office sponsors to build out the technology platform to support the needs of the ABP (Asset Backed Products) Trading Business.

Primary tasks include but are not limited to:


  • Work directly with the ABP traders, Risks managers to get their needs and support them (Sup level 1,2 & 3)
  • Leverage on the global tools and framework to provide Pricing and Reporting tools
  • Defining the architecture for new developments
  • Managing each initiative given by management from start to end
  • Work closely with the Quant team in order to integrate the new library into the systems
  • Collaborate with others teams (networking, systems, architects, others development teams..)
  • Improve existing processes in order to reduce support time.
  • Maintain pricing tools, optimize usage, monitoring
  • Give clear and consistent reports to the clients and management
  • Ensure business requirements are met
  • Ensure that release management / change management processes are followed
  • Document, train users and team members in your area of expertise
  • Rely on IT best practices to improve quality of his development
  • Leverage new technology (Big data,  web UI) to deliver “Digital” tool to the clients

Profile required



Good written & verbal communication skills, appropriate to a given audience, (technical, functional, etc.), ability to communicate to a wide range of clients and support staff – traders, middle office, development, infrastructure

    • Experience in financial products (better if in the Fixed Income area) / financial industry business processes / trading system
    • Strong knowledge in risk analysis and pricing
    • Analytical skills
    • Rigorous
    • Dynamic, detail oriented, fast learning capacity and able to work in a high pressure environment, able to manage multiple tasks in parallel


Desired/ Plus:

    • Algorithmic skills
    • Strong knowledge of programming design patterns
    • Financing knowledge on Mortgage Back Securities products and Loans

Prior Work experience

Required: Minimum of 7 years experience in similar banking environment

Education Required:  

  • BS in Computer Science/Finance or related field
