You will be onboarded in the Core/Hosting and Cloud Infrastructure team that develops and maintains the following services:

Core Hosting:

  • Storage, Compute and Operating Systems
  • Datacenter Switching and Routing environments
  • WAN and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems
  • Market Access, Co-locations & Low latency applications

Cloud & Platform:

  • Private Cloud infrastructure (Ocs, Vcs..)
  • Public Cloud access points (Azure, Aws...)

The team is composed of DevOps Network experts, System Admins and Developers working with Agile methodologies.

As a senior Network & Telecom Technical engineer, your mission will be to :

  • Design & support various network infrastructure across Asia Pacific on shift basis (internal connections, 3rd party and external partners, DMZ...)
  • Excel in releasing projects and maintenance operations in production without impact
  • Ensure Asia Pacific Network and Telecom services being offered are in line with business requirements in term of stability, resilience and performance
  • Ensure global standard and best practices are well implemented and fit Asia Pacific needs
  • Represent the team in various regional and global forums where technical expertise is required
  • Lead major transversal topics for the regional network community (eg  security, automation initiatives,...)
  • Be a technical reference for internal partners and advise on standard or innovative solutions to bring value in a competitive and challenging market environment
  • Be a technical reference and mentor for the teams to increase their knowledge about network operations and solutions to improve project management and delivery

Most underlying infrastructure components are coming from strategic technology vendors (CISCO, FORTINET, CHECKPOINT, F5...). Therefore the candidate must have a solid experience with such vendors and technologies at various level (account management, technical support, service level review...).

We highly value appetite to learn and try disruptive and non traditional technologies (open source, software defined) to deliver tomorrow’s network and datacenters solutions.

Profile required


  • University degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. 
  • 5 - 8 years of experience in designing, implementing & operating complex Telecom/Networks in large organizations.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal). Fluent in English (French, Cantonese/Mandaring would be a plus)

Knowledge & Operational skills:    

  • Strong knowledge in network and telecom operations management.
  • Strong knowledge in network appliance and their software: Cisco Switches/Routers, Load balancers
  • Strong network knowledge of network security appliances – traditional and Application Firewalls, IDPS, Network Taps
  • Strong knowledge in Routing procotol (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and WAN design (MPLS, VRF)
  • Strong knowledge in Layer 2 switching protocols (SPT, 802.1Q,…) and switch designs – stack switch models.
  • Practical knowledge of multicast environments and troubleshooting in financial environment (TibcoRV, Rendezvous Point)
  • Practical experience of Datacenter Switching technologies, - Nexus and NxOS.  7,5,2 designs and leaf spine topologies.  Good knowledge of VPC concepts. 
  • Broad understanding of Fundamental Infrastructure Areas (Operating Systems, Servers, Storage, DHCP, DNS, etc...)
  • Ability to communicate and present complex technical concept in an understandable manner in both verbal and written form
  • Ability to concisely write up change documentation and procedures, with clear backout plans and pre and post change test considerations.
  • Basic knowledge of Asian markets, market data  & trading activities
  • Basics in coding language (Python, Bash), automation tools (Ansible, …) and Continuous Delivery framework

Following experience background would be a plus:

  • Experience in a bank of similar size, global exposure / follow the sun support model
  • Knowledge of Cloud native patterns.
  • Experience in scripting, development or Automation tool (ansible)
  • Cisco Certification
